After studying ecology at university, Agnès obtained professional mountain qualifications in hiking, climbing and canyoning.
In 1999, the Altipiani Outdoor Sports Agency was born. In 2005, Altipiani-Corse moved permanently to Corte, the Green Capital of Corsica, in the heart of the mountains of the Isle of Beauty.
Today, Altipiani offers holidays and day activities: hiking, climbing, canyoning, via corda, portaledge, cycling and treasure hunts.
Agnès, her husband Pascal, Evelyne and Chloé, as well as the indispensable helpers who join our small team during the summer season, are here to welcome you and share with you their passion for climbing, canyoning, cycling holidays and hiking.
Through our studies and sensitivities, it is clear that we have a sincere and committed naturalist streak. On a day-to-day basis, we live a rather frugal lifestyle, but we are prepared to buy what we need, not skimp on quality and pay a fair price.
Our business reflects our philosophy. So when you go cycling, you’ll be riding the best electric bikes made by responsible companies. When you go canyoning, the wetsuits are Austrian and the equipment is made by German, Welsh or French companies. For all our activities we offer an all-inclusive service… that’s what Altipiani is all about. Bike helmet, repair kit, special canyoning boots, full climbing equipment: all at no extra cost.
We are a small outdoor sports agency that will remain on a human scale. Our aim is to provide a high quality day service, whether it be cycling, walking, climbing or day activities such as canyoning, hiking, climbing or treasure hunts. We will never be the number one agency in terms of walking holidays sold or canyoning trips completed. We want to meet your expectations as best we can by sharing our passion for bespoke holidays and we will remain the artisans of outdoor sports.

Thomas Orsolini, grandson of the painter Joseph Orsolini, illustrated the treasure hunt in Corte, an idea of Agnès, who wanted to help people discover the town in a fun and cultural way.
Thibaud Durand, the physiotherapist who has become a “budding equipment supplier” for vertical walls, with whom we have completed the first via cordata of the Restonica and several climbing sectors.

Tomorrow, our children must be able to admire the landscapes we admire today. It has always been a duty to transmit beauty, but everything has accelerated and we have lost some of our feelings, our vision has become a little blurred, we used to dream of infinity.
Today, building our children's tomorrow is becoming a more difficult task. We, a small agency with strong ties to tourism, must act in our own way, with our own fears, our own joys, our own ethics.
We are aware of the need to meet, to travel and to exchange.
In order to continue this adventure, we must organise trips that have a minimal impact on the environment around us. Our encounters must be enriching and bring us the necessary benevolence so that the legacy we leave is not a world of chaos, but lands where we can still smile and be enchanted.
We could agree that carbon offsetting is a brilliant idea! But offsetting is not enough, we prefer to reduce our impact.
We have chosen a different path: we have tried to collaborate by getting involved or financially supporting various associations that defend and talk about values that affect our sensitivities.
Altipiani has become the agency for electric bicycles, our employees and we ourselves have been using this means of transport for a long time.
The associations that we love and support with a little funding by being members or actors:
- U Levante, a very active Corsican environmental association. A big thank you to these very courageous people. The members of this association are under pressure from certain short-term developers who are distorting certain values that have made Corsica a land of character.
